Hi Lorenzo, Please do let us know about any updates related to the kernel side.
I am slowly catching up with my backlog, there are kernel patches available, I believe they should be posted in the upcoming weeks but I will be more precise later on.
ok, thanks. Will wait for your patches.
Lorenzo
Many thanks Salil

[+] LOD Discussions list, missed this earlier. Sorry, for this duplicate
mail.
Hi Lorenzo, Wanted to catch up regarding the VCPU Hotplug. Sorry, I was on a sabbatical leave since last year so could not participate in any discussions and have just joined back a week ago and still trying to catch up.
Had a brief discussion with Jonathan last week and thanks to him and Shameer for carrying forward the baton in my absence.
I was made aware, and forgive me if I have missed from any of the past
LOD
discussions, there are some changes being done over the original kernel patches of the vCPU Hotplug but largely the approach remains the same as the one in original patches with some new ACPI flag(which is now part of the ACPI spec?) related kernel changes?
As such, do you have any update regarding above work and in case this work is already done, is it possible to share the latest git repo so that we can test the qemu changes we have with the new kernel changes.
In case this has not been done, I was wondering if we could pitch in and help in completing these kernel changes as well and float for review?
Hi Joyce, If we are having meeting tomorrow (or whatever is the next one) can this topic be made part of the discussion?
Many thanks Salil

I am just catching up after a 2 month hiatus but if there is anything
urgent
to
be discussed I am happy to join the call and run the meeting.
Met too just back after holidays and don't have anything urgent for
discussion
from my end. Also, Jonathan is away this week.
Thanks, Shameer
